Late this summer the Chilliwack
summer festival will be hosted by the same organisers who controlled the tulip
valley festival.
The carnival begins on Wednesday, August
22, welcoming on-leash pets and allowing the visitors to walk through more than
five acres of sunflowers bloom. The carnival contains a drinking area and
complimentary pick-up bags on-site.
Attractions include:

Sun rich orange sunflower that visitors can pluck and take
home
·
Grown tulip, daffodil and sunflower inspired gifts
·
Field and cut flowers for sale
·
Three acres filled with giant sunflower
·
Traditional orange and yellow sunflower
·
15 varieties of sunflower available in one-acre show garden
Multiple opportunities will be
provided by the festival for coveted photos-ops with a wind mill, vintage bicycle,
and swing sets
Lawn Games including Yardzee, giant
jenga, bola ball, Tic -TAC toe, and checkers will be played.
The festival is incomplete without
food trucks, cold drinks, and ice-cream. Moreover, photos of sunflower are
being posted every week with recent pictures of giant sunflowers exceeding nine
feet in height.

Campbell, Gold honey farm, and Meadery. The Chilliwack sunflower festival and
