Change is good. But such type of change?
For the first time, Canada is bringing out a $10 bill featuring the first black Canadian woman Viola Desmond, a businesswoman, and a civil activist. But it is not just the only thing. The banknote will be having its first vertical alignment.
This news is bringing a huge murmur among Canadians.
George Kocik said, "It looks like a piece out of a coloring book or a magazine."
Barbara Dickens, another person reacted to this as, "I'd just wish our dollar would go up.”
The bank of Canada cleared the hype created by such decision. They say the note cannot fit the big image of Viola in a horizontal alignment that why they changed it as a vertical one. Secondly, they wanted to distinguish the note with polymer bills.
