The city is hosting a free massive Japanese Street Festival.
So, get ready to blow up your mind.
Montreal is ready to let you experience Matsuri Japon’s 17th
annual Street Festival.
This eye-catching festival is going to be witnessed at
Japanese Canadian cultural center which will manifest Japanese traditions and
community here in Montreal.
As stated by the Matsuri Japon’s facebook page, this year,
this festival is featuring a variety of traits ranging from Japanese food and activities
accompanied with desserts, drinks, rock music with cultural dance, kimono
rentals, Japanese language workshop, and demonstration of martial arts.
This festival also gives prominence to Japanese food. You can
have the best of Japanese foods all in one place. Takoyaki (octopus stuffed
pancakes), Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes), Yakiniku (grilled beef), Yakisoba
(sautéed noodles), Udon (cold noodles), Ikayaki (grilled squid), Yakitori (grilled
meat skewers), J-dogs (Japanese hot dogs), and Onigiri (rice balls).
You will never regret this tour. Their highly trained and
expert guides will demonstrate the martial arts and classical karate
competition will also be held.
Not to worry if you are not interested in karate. This
festival has another door for you. It also gives you an opportunity to learn,
experience and witness Japanese art of Kyudo, the much-known Japanese archery.
Aren’t you eager to know about desserts, right? This festival
brings up the most mouth-watering desserts which include Japanese shaved ice
dessert (Kakigori). Furthermore, it brings
popular drinks like Ramune, Calpico, Calpis Soda, Yuzu lemonade, and the most
favorable Sapporo beer.

all the wayfarers get ready to march on the Japanese street festival and just
so you know it is free of cost. However, the cost of food items and activities
vary.
