Heavy snow is all
that is to be seen today in Vancouver, Canada. Federal weather agency’s have
reported that 5cm accumulation is to be expected at 10 am on Sunday morning,
most likely heavy accumulation for areas situated on high land. Environment
Canada is prompted to issue second warning of snowfall for the day.
Cold winds soon transformed the rainfall into heavy snow and most probably
Canadians will witness the weather for a week or so. However late Sunday
morning will bring about a clearer sky with both sunny and cloudy sky which
will be seen for the whole day. The cold is however expected to stay for a
longer while since overnight snow will stick to the ground for a few days. It
will go from 2 degree at day to -6 degree at night on Sunday meaning less melting of snow.
The freezing temperature will continue for the week with even more jittery
teeth and frost bites in the night when it will drop below zero. Snow might
return on Wednesday, upcoming week.
Roads might be slippery, and the conditions could be worse, so the drivers are
requested to be precautions and drive slowly or use public transit instead.
