So true to say that
Oprah Winfrey is attracted to the Pacific Northwest that her passion had made
her purchase her own property on this field. But the infrastructure of the house
with money she spent can literally shake you up!
According to the record by Variety, this
American media tycoon, actress, and the patron has acquired a USD$8.3-million
(CAD$10.7-million) residency on Orcas Island. It is the biggest island which is
situated on San Juan Island in Washington State.
The island is around 26 km south of White Rock and 20 km northeast of
Victoria, and Winfrey’s new house called the Madroneagle Estate look out on the
island’s East Sound with a slouch width of 43 acres and almost 3,000 ft of
west-facing shoreline.
Made
in 2007, this major house has a land covering the basement area of 7,303 sq. ft. consists of four bedrooms,
three full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. Its looks are from a
faux-rustic, cabin-like interior with salvage wood, stone and ironwork, and
wooden floorboards of old Sears’ building from Chicago.
The
essential area of the home contains a super-sized
kitchen with an extensive center island and a pizza oven, a library with
floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a games room, an office inside a home, and a wine
basement with a tasting room.
Shows the features of the 1980s, the modern
guesthouse has fabricated and extensively covered the ground area of 2,948 sq.
ft. is convenient for Winfrey’s huge number of guests. The guesthouse has four
bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Furthermore
to the leading house and guest house, the land has a barn-like house formation that is used as a woodworking
studio, yoga studio, and gym. The estate still comprises outdoor comfort like
a sauna, Asian garden, private hiking trails, a pond and stream, and over half
a mile of pebble-stone beaches.
The current Winfrey’s net credit is at USD$3.1
billion. She also has homes in California, New Jersey, Colorado, Illinois,
Florida, and Hawaii, where she is the holder of about 1,000 acres on Maui.
In October 2017, she visited Vancouver for David
Foster Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Miracle Concert at Rogers Arena.
