The Forbes team first visits all the hotels secretly without disclosing their identities and enjoy the experience as a typical hotel guest.

The Guide said, “While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience at a hotel, restaurant or spa goes beyond looks — how it makes you feel is what you will remember most.”

The total 1,609 hotels around the globe, in which 55 Canadian hotels provided them a great experience, everything from accommodation to food, and six Canadian hotels were rated as a five star by Forbes.
