According to the American Sleep Association, 93 percent of traveller
experience jet lag, but now, there's a solution coming to combat jet lag in the
form of an app.
According to Inc.com,
a new app, Timeshifter, from a pioneer company located in Denmark that was released last
month. The strategy behind jet lag is to ease the fatigue, nausea, headaches,
and loss of appetite, this can be done through, trying to help you adjust your
body's 24-hour internal clock, which makes new schedule easier.
The procedure of using is that
the consumer enters their normal sleeping schedule, whether they're a
morning person or a night owl, and their impending itinerary for their trip.
The app then creates an algorithm to give you suggestion of what to do both
prior to and immediately after your flight. This includes a new sleeping
schedule, this way caffeine and melatonin can be avoided.
Moreover, to create a new
schedule based on your itinerary, it also advises the user on when to expose
yourself to light. It is important because the specialist say it's a huge
hint for the body's 24-hour clock. Suggestions also include exposing yourself
to bright light for a certain time and about avoiding light altogether. These
suggestions on light exposure can last for one or more days, depending on what
your itinerary looks like.
This app is designed
for the convenience of the travellers and to make it easier and faster to adjust
to a new time zone. The effects of jet lag can be irritating and paralyzing,
making your trip less enjoyable. Using Timeshifter will make sure that you can
get comfortable with a new schedule that will result in you enjoying your trip
more than if you don’t push yourself to use this app.
It can be bought
through the App Store or Google
Play for your smartphone.
